Having such an amazing spot like this in San Diego really shows you the diversity Southern California has to offer. Since we do not receive very much rain, this waterfall rarely runs at full capacity.

On this date, it had rained a good amount the day before so I headed out on the long hike hoping the falls would be showing all it glory. As I walked up the canyon, I noticed the creek was not very full and the falls would probably only have a small amount water. Reaching the location, it was as I suspected, but the light was perfect with no one around, the tree in full bloom, and the clouds racing across the sky. I immediately set up my camera and captured this great image that transports you to a different place other than the desert southwest.
