Camping in Utah is to say the least, "entrancing."

I had a last minute trip to Salt Lake City and wanted to camp the whole way up and back while seeing some sites. This night I was camping at 9,000 ft. at this little campsite. The sky was super clear and I was pondering what to shoot. As night fell the campfire lite up these aspens along this old fence right next to me... The north star was in the perfect place above the trees so I setup my camera and capture a 1-hour exposure, which gives the star trails nice lines but doesn't over do it. The light from the campfire gave the orange color leaves and their surroundings a perfect tone.

Every time I look at this image I will remember that great trip and everything I experienced.
