Baja Mexico can be bizarre and strange as well as extraordinarily phenomenal. Having the desert plunge into the deep blue Pacific Ocean is an exercise in contrast and contradiction. The blistering colors of the desert in comparison to the cool aqua hues of the ocean make for a great image. You also never know what you're going to see or whom you may come across. I shot this image on a weekend getaway and loved the openness of the area and the vastness of this region. I wanted to capture that feeling in an image and think I succeeded with this one. Open ocean, open desert, open dreams.
